With a broad range of solutions, we help customers in diverse markets expedite their supply chain, integrate automation and drive greater productivity throughout their operations.

Roller conveyors are a versatile option that allows for objects of various sizes to be moved quickly and efficiently. We're not a catalog-based company, so we're able to tailor the width, length, and functionality of your roller conveyor system to suit your layout and production goals.

A belt conveyor system can be implemented with a very economical cost per foot of the conveyor for many warehouse and industrial applications. Because it includes just one motor and a simple belt system they are quite simple. Hence they’re often one of the first productivity improvement purchases that a growing company will make.

GCSROLLER are supported by a leadership team who have decades of experience in operation of conveyor manufacturing company, a specialist team in conveyor industry and general industry, and a team of key employee who are essential for assembly plant. This helps us understand our customers' needs for productivity solution better. If you need a complex industrial automation solution, we can do it. But sometimes simpler solutions, such as gravity conveyors or power roller conveyors, are better. Either way, you can trust our team’s ability to provide the optimal solution for industrial conveyors and automation solutions.

How much does a conveyor system cost?

You can set up a simple gravity roller conveyor system for only $100-200 at the most reasonable price. GCSROLLER sells many of these gravity roller conveyors every day to fast growing businesses.

For high-speed conveyors used in distribution centers (DCs), usually the cost ranges from $0.3 million to $5 million, depending on the length of the conveyor, the speed required, maneuver or gravity, and the weight of the product carried by the conveyor.

Sometimes, it can be helpful to consider the length of the conveyor per foot (or meter). The price range for low-cost gravity roller conveyors is around $13 per foot to $40 per foot, depending on the number of rolls, the diameter of the rolls, and the width of the conveyor. If the conveyor is powered or motorized, a simple belt conveyor or a motor-driven roller conveyor would be the most affordable option in this catalog. The prices of these systems range from $150 per foot to around $400 per foot, depending on the number of zones, width, and weight of the product being carried.

The price of overhead conveyors is also affordable. The cost for hand push trolley system using GCSROLLER's track and trolley system is around $10 to $30 per foot, but please noted that installation costs not included. Since overhead conveyors are installed above the production area, in some cases overhead conveyors can cost as much as the conveyor equipment itself. Simple electric overhead conveyors cost $100 to $400 per foot. The best types of overhead conveyors are powered and freewheeled conveyors, but these typically cost more than $500 per foot.

Can GCSROLLER provide me with a rough budget for my conveyor system?

Of course! Our team works every day with customers who purchase their first conveyor system. We'll help you through the process, and if appropriate, we'd often prefer to see you start using a low-cost "fast shipping" model from our online store. If you have a layout or a rough idea of your needs, we can give you a rough budget. Some customers have sent us CAD drawings of their ideas, others sketched them on napkins.

What exactly is the product you want to move?

How much do they weigh? What is the lightest? What is the heaviest?

How many products are on the conveyor belt at the same time?

How big is the minimum and maximum product that the conveyor will carry (we need length, width and height)?

What does the conveyor surface look like? This is really important. If it is a flat or rigid carton, tote bag, or pallet, it is simple. But many products are flexible or have protruding surfaces on the surfaces where the conveyor carries them.

Frequently asked questions about conveyors

How to design a conveyor system?

Start by understanding the load. The size, weight, and surface details will determine the best conveyor type. Choose a roller or belt style based on the product you want to move. If you need to create buffers, you’ll need a conveyor belt that moves each item individually. These types of conveyors include motorized roller conveyors (MDRs) and powered free conveyors.

What other terms are there for conveyors?

Conveyors can also be referred to as automatic conveyor systems, pallet transfer systems, shuttle systems, belt conveyors, trolley systems, track systems or feeding systems. They all play the same role in the process of transferring products from one location to another.

What does conveyor system mean?

Conveyor systems are an effective way to move loads from one location to another. Conveyor systems can be manual or motorized. Conveyors usually use belts, rollers, trolleys, or slats to move the load. The common theme is to easily move loads using rolling or sliding surfaces.

What are the most common types of conveyors?

Belt conveyors and roller conveyors are the most common types. They are simple and easy to use. Roller conveyors are best suited for products with rigid flat bottoms. Belt conveyors are suitable for many types of products, but the products must be able to be safely placed on the belt.

Where are conveyor systems used?

Conveyor systems are used in factories, warehouses, distribution centers, airports, and almost all industrial facilities. They range from systems that cost less than $100 to systems that cost more than $10 million. In fact, every item purchased by a consumer travels through many conveyor belts to reach the end customer.

How to choose a conveyor?

In order to choose the right machine for your installation, you will need to consider several criteria.

The first decisive factor you will need to consider is the load capacity. Next, it is essential to think about the conveying route to be set up. The type of products to be conveyed is also an important aspect. You will need to take into account their weight, volume and condition (bulk or packaged products). You will also need to think about the technology that will be suitable for your installation. Lastly, the configuration of the space in which the conveyor will be installed is an important point not to overlook. Is it possible to install the conveyor system on the ground? If the answer is no, you can choose an overhead conveyor system.
